Camping & RV Northern California presents an outstanding range of camping and RV opportunities. Most of the camping sites are part of the extensive state and national park system and can be reserved with a call to a reservation system. The number for national parks is 800-4367275; for state parks reservations, 800-444-7275. Besides parks, there are national forests in California with campgrounds, some of which are reservable (800-280-2267). Regional park systems provide further options. For each of our six areas of California, we'll suggest some good camping and RV options.
